John M. Swadba Joins Provident Bank As Senior Vice President And Credit Risk Manager

JERSEY CITY, NJ – September 16, 2016 – The Provident Bank has named John M. Swadba of Bernardsville, N.J., Senior Vice President and Credit Risk Manager. In his new position, Swadba is responsible for managing and reporting on the risks in the Bank’s loan portfolio.

“Swadba is a seasoned Credit Risk and loan portfolio management professional with 30 years of global risk management experience, spanning commercial banking, capital markets and derivatives,” said Brian Giovinazzi, Chief Credit Officer, The Provident Bank. “We are excited to have him part of the team.”

Swadba previously held positions at Merrill Lynch and most recently at Hudson Valley Bank as a Chief Credit Officer. Swadba holds a Bachelor’s of Science from Rutgers University, is Credit Risk Certified by the Risk Management Association and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
